My 9 yr old son just lost his 5th tooth and he got $9.
Some of my sons friends get $20 per tooth and some only get a few dollars, there seems to be no set rate that people follow.Nikkihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01783482385808156898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3469985320240790723.post-74257392957273321612011-02-22T18:40:17.200-08:002011-02-22T18:40:17.200-08:00A Girl, I like that idea! And they even have dollar coins now that have been popping up in the change the post office gives me.

Melanna, yeah the whole "what to do with the tooth" thing is sort of strange. Keeping it seems a little weird, but throwing it out seems just wrong. I'm thinking I'll make some kind of little trinket box to keep them all in. Maybe something I could include a little record of when she lost each tooth?

As for how much to give, $5 or $1 per tooth seems to be the going rate. We did $5 for the very first tooth ever, but $1 will probably be the max for the future losses. Maybe I'll write a sweet note or add something to make it a little special next time.Stacey - Elle Bellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12725236652020663581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3469985320240790723.post-75070325453046217232011-02-22T10:57:59.249-08:002011-02-22T10:57:59.249-08:00Cute!!! The other thing I wonder is, what does one DO with the teeth? My parents saved all of ours in the envelopes we put them in, in the hallway bookcase (I know, SO GROSS). I know I don't want to do that. I want to be a "normal" family. So what should I plan to do??Melannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03713235104745805076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3469985320240790723.post-50029442869391424262011-02-17T21:06:06.595-08:002011-02-17T21:06:06.595-08:00Ours got $5 for their first tooth ever...
